The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) is very excited to announce a new Winter Program conducted at The Golf Institute at Bond Head, beginning in January 2009. This unique winter golf program, endorsed by the CJGA, for CJGA members, will provide junior golfers an off-season training program that will enable them to gain valuable knowledge of themselves and their golf game, while getting a head start on the competition for the 2009 golf season.
The Golf Institute at Bond Head is the foremost teaching and coaching facility in Canada located at the Club at Bond Head just north of Toronto. This state of the art facility features the latest in technology for golf instruction, club fitting and human performance including a 3D Motion Reality system, Trackman, TOMI putting system, V1 Video swing analysis, K-Vest and a new indoor short game center. Players will have the chance to practice on the best synthetic putting surface available matching green speeds found in tournament conditions. Juniors can enroll in one of two programs, a five week program @ $595.00 or a ten week program @ $995.00 that will cover a wide array of topics, beginning with a fitness assessment of themselves. Each junior will receive a full personalized training program before moving on to golf instruction aspect.
Bruce McCarrol, CPGA Master Professional and Director of Instruction will head up the Winter Program along with colleague Liam Mucklow, CPGA Professional and former Korean Tour professional.
